6/9/25 It has been a while. The Mistress has been struggling the past couple of weeks and is in no mood to do very much around here. The stress of this caravan debacle has taken its toll. They announce they are now going to court. Whatever this means for a mere Gnome. So, this is the update. They told me it could take several weeks to get into the system, and then I'll have to wait for a hearing date. What does this all mean for a Gnome? It appears humans and Gnomes wait. For how long? For as long as it takes, they say. We are very used to having patients around here, so this is nothing new. When this date is given, we trot along and listen to the judge. I found it complicated to get an explanation of what a judge does, so I requested to attend this party. The humans assure me this will definitely not be a party.
