The humans are melting today and spilling everywhere, making this caravan untidy. They keep saying bad weather is coming, but they are wrong, as I can feel the fine weather in my bones.
The onset of night seems to stir a restlessness in the humans. They toss and turn, their covers in disarray, creating a scene of disorder. Yet, this peculiar behavior only fuels my curiosity, prompting me to explore other aspects of this world.
Amidst the snoring of other humans, I found myself drawn to adventure. Gizmo was having a grand time in the water feature, so I left him to it. I set out to find those pedal bikes I had seen the other day. I yearned to sit in them and dream of having longer legs and the mischief I could get up to. Being a mere Gnome is tough, but I'm always ready for a new adventure.
Despite the challenges, I persevered. The night was long, the place vast, and the campers numerous. Some even left their smelly shoes outside their door. But I didn't let it get to me. I took them to the water feature and left them to wash themselves, even though I didn't have a peg for my nose!
Trixie and I heard today about the plans to move on Friday and head south. Yippeee. At long last, I want to look around and experience what other poor Gnomes can't. I am often told around here that we are very privileged and that we should not forget this matter.
The Mistress has a sore back today, and His Lordship is assisting her with the washing. She isn't the brightest when in pain. I saw her popping pills, and she rested most of the morning.
A young chap appeared this morning to fix the rust on this caravan. Being brand new and not checked before purchasing has not pleased her, and she told the fella yesterday. His Lordship seemed impressed with her stroppy words to him. I don't think he has heard her take flight before. I had better not step out of line, or it could be me next.
A rather exciting chap had a look inside our caravan today. He never uttered a word and used his device to speak. He was rather impressed and said this looked like our home. He moves around doing seasonal work while improving his living environment. He has a building on the back of his truck and often potters around doing stuff while living in it. The Mistress reckons he may have a lonely life as communication is challenging and presumably challenging to eat. Some of us don't know how lucky we are.
