in this ladies

 16/11/24

The humans here were up and off yesterday morning; again, there was no indication of when they would return home. She gets pretty stroppy if I broach the subject, as she usually says, "Since when does she have to be answerable to us?" The fact that this is our home, too, doesn't appear to matter. I find it so hard to understand the human race. We Gnomes usually go with the flow; however, we do enjoy doing our Gnome stuff, too, and require time to be back in our places so we do not get caught.

On their arrival home, we find they went to Geraldine as there was a rather large market where they closed the street. The Mistress loves markets. She opened a couple of bags and out popped 4 Gnomes.

Wow, what a surprise for us to meet these new fellows. Handsome dudes, too.

Gerald

Arh, my head is spinning, meeting these dudes. They are a hard-case bunch, and our adventures will not be discussed here. It's gnome business, you see. Gerald loves gardens, and he tells me he is fond of flowers. Some of our neighbors have flowers, so he will be in his element and will fit in here rather nicely. The Mistress found him in a shop window, and His Lordship found some inside. He has been trained to be on the lookout, which pleases his darling no end.

His Lordship suggested some small Gnomes would fit high on the caravan slide out. What a great idea, she announces. He is known for coming up with some great suggestions.

On Thursday, the owner suggested that the Mistress go over to his wife and see her decorated ostrich eggs. I nearly fell off my perch because she remembered to take me, too. My goodness, this is a highly talented lady. She also does Emu, ducks, swans, and goose eggs. The Mistress was very interested in her craft. (Faberge)

She tells us she has the odd break of an egg, and they used to have Ostriches years ago. Look at me sitting beside these creations.

A Ceramic Owl she made, too.
