When trying to communicate

 19/3/25

Until recently, I was allowed to use this computer. I have fought for days to get on here, and the answer has always been NO. This reaction does not make for a happy Chappie. She has a code on this thing to stop me from accessing it. Now, as I understand this behavior, The Mistress is a control freak. Crickey, maybe I better start running.

His Lordship has a runny nose and hasn't moved much until today, but this is Wednesday and golf day. She did try hard to make him rest, but she may as well talk to a brick wall. At least she does get some peace.

Tomato Relish was made this morning.

Poo, what a stink.

The higher up I was, the worse the stink. I needed out of here fast, but I could not escape, as she had her eyes on me all morning. I felt this was a punishment, but what did I do wrong? Getting away from the smell was becoming a real problem. The Mistress tells me that if I want to live with humans, then I need to understand that humans do all sorts of things and that I have to like it or lump it.
So that sure was me told!

The journey down south required me to be bubble-wrapped and put into a unique bag. This was hideous, as I wanted to see the scenery like I did on the North Island trip. This was before she met Prince Charming. Some things have changed since then, and I get shown the door if I dare complain. The joys of being a mere Gnome.
The Mistress sometimes buys me more friends, so I must be grateful, she says.

From what I hear, the Mistress is into her volunteer work now and seems to enjoy it, too. Her big challenge is the computer world today. There has been so much change since she did this in the 80s and 90s when her children were at school.

This caravan lifestyle is exciting when it rains. They have to turn the TV volume up to listen to their programs, which is interesting to watch as she hates the noise. When trying to communicate with her darling, she asks for him to turn the rain down a bit. It's so funny as he asks, "How do I do this?" They are like a couple of clowns at times. Fancy asking for the rain to be turned down!
A Gnome's world is pleased to see and hear rain because it helps the earth grow. We gnomes take great pride in the trees and gardens and, of course, in the recycling. They do much of that around here, and all food waste goes into the garden. A great system and not like some other places.

His Lordship takes great pride in his lawn and wanted to mow it before his family came for a BBQ on Sunday. However, this was delayed until Monday, and before the rain.  He didn't want the daughter to have a miserable time sneezing. What a good dad.
