It is hard to keep up with the Mistress these days. She is into all sorts of things. She has spread the word about us and what we get up to on other sites worldwide. So now, what? Her phone keeps pinging and barely stops. Some have even enquired about our book and where they can buy it—Amazon, of course!
She is a character, and with the ideas she comes up with, His Lordship just shakes his head and says, "What next." Her brain never stops.
Becoming a walking encyclopedia, oh my goodness. She volunteers at the Citizens Advice Bureau, and I may learn some knowledge that will help me understand the humans I live with. I want her to teach me how to access the information. It appears it's all confidential, and passwords are private. I shall aim to look over her shoulder but fear she will pounce on me. She is like that, so it's a hard life for a mere Gnome around here. Being reminded that I do not bring in an income means I have little or no say.
Plans are being made for the Grandson, who is coming down next Saturday for a week of the school holidays. Then, he will go to Rarotonga with his parents for the other week. At least they will not need their winter woolies. The Mistress is trying to find some winter jumpers, but they are in storage, and she can't recall the box/case they are in. So, giving instructions to His Lordship is impossible.
If I knew her, she could well go out to buy some. This may not please His Lordship. He seems to have a thing about the amount of clothes she has. But while discussing the matter with her, his wardrobe is half empty, and he wears the same clothes all year round. She has claimed the other half, as it was space she needed not to be wasted. Space is a big thing when living in a caravan. There is very little despite the fact this is a 30-foot beast. There is plenty of room to walk around, but I feel she is still adjusting to this way of life. My guess is when you are old, it is even harder! Gee, don't tell her this. She could well tip me out.
Her clothes are always very colorful, and she has bought some prisms that look great when the sun shines. I immensely enjoy watching these things; they dance around when they move in here, and it is interesting to see the different colors and shapes they create. Even His Lordship likes them, and she breathes a sigh of relief.
