The humans are patiently waiting for the news on this caravan drama. They reckon that fella has no way out now, as the wof has been revoked yet again. An excellent report from NZTA went to the lawyer this week, and that dude has until Tuesday to pay up. He is even trying to get them to pay for living it all this time. This would never have happened if he had paid up in December last year.

The Mistress wants to get settled and is champing at the bit to get all her belongings around her. They are both not getting much sleep these days while they wait for Tuesday. They won't share their plans with me, unfortunately. The joys of just being a mere Gnome.
Another Gnome has appeared here, too. He is just a small chap, keeping us company at the window. I've also heard a discussion about a couple of Gnomes she has seen somewhere that are second-hand. Now she is patiently waiting for payday. These humans have learned a lot about being patient this past year. A couple more days won't hurt her.
I am out in the boudoir as it is nice, sunny, and peaceful. She is inside the caravan having a tidy up. Why? His Lordship is washing the car, which is a shocking gray instead of red. It is a great sunny day here, and they are trying hard to keep their minds active and not think about this caravan drama.
This is not easy for a Gnome either, but they don't think of us, as we do wonder about their/our next home. This will mean we are all homeless. Surely, they have a plan in place. A terrible situation for our small lives to deal with. Humans think they are the only ones stressing and losing sleep and have not thought about our nerves. No point in complaining, as the usual will be said to us. "As you pay no board, you have no say."
When we get outside to explore, Plovers are sitting on eggs again. One lot is in the middle of the paddock, and thankfully, a human has put a road cone near it. It would not end well if the mower and tractor went over it. They are mighty big, those machines. Those babies would lose their home, too. The world has gone mad.
